The Testo 0635 1572 Digital Hot Wire Probe is a precision-engineered sensor designed for accurate air velocity, volume flow, temperature, and humidity measurement in ventilation ducts and air handling systems. Its robust wired design ensures reliable performance in demanding HVAC and laboratory environments.
Featuring a flow velocity range of 0 to 30 m/s, the probe integrates temperature, humidity, and absolute pressure sensors, ensuring consistent and precise readings with automatic air density compensation. The extendable telescope (up to 1 m), complete with clear scaling, allows easy insertion and depth control in ducts of varying sizes.
A convenient handle button enables users to control key measuring functions—such as storing readings, starting/stopping measurement series, and averaging results—directly from the probe. The rotatable protective cap shields the sensitive sensor elements from dust and mechanical stress, ensuring long-term durability.
Engineered with Testo’s intelligent digital calibration concept, the probe processes readings internally to eliminate instrument uncertainty. Calibration can be performed independently on the probe head, allowing your measuring instrument (e.g., Testo 400, 440, or 480) to remain in continuous use.
