Refund policy

We accept a return, excluding special orders, within 30 days of delivery date where:

  • the return is for a single item (no multi-item returns)
  • the item is unused, in original condition, with tags, and in original packaging

A restocking fee (10% to 25% based on condition of returned item) as well as return shipping costs may apply.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection.

If a Refund or Return is requested due to a Warranty issue (for example a damaged, defective or incorrect item), this section does not apply. Please see the Warranty Policy.


1. Eligibility for Returns and Refunds

  • Timeframe: Returns must be requested within 30 days of the item’s date of delivery.
  • Condition: Items must be unused, unworn, with original tags, and in their original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase: A receipt or other proof of purchase is required.
  • Non-returnable items: Perishables, custom or personalized products, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, gases, sale items, certified pre-owned or used products, and any product with a specific non-return note in its description.
  • One-time use purchases: Orders bought specifically for one-time or temporary use (for example trade show or promotional use) are not eligible for return.

2. How to Start a Return

  • Email sales@advancedtools.com.au with your receipt or proof of purchase and a description of the reason for return.
  • Do not ship items back until you receive our confirmation and the return shipping address.
  • Items sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.

3. Return Shipping and Costs

  • For approved returns, we will provide a return shipping label and instructions within 5 business days.
  • Unless otherwise stated, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit.

4. Inspection and Refund Processing

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you whether the refund is approved.
  • Items returned with minor wear, missing tags, or damaged packaging are assessed and may be subject to a partial refund or restocking fee, at the discretion of Advanced Tools. If you would rather the item returned, then you may be charged for return shipping.
  • If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Bank or card provider processing times may vary.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you have not received the refund, contact sales@advancedtools.com.au.

5. Exchanges

  • We do not process direct exchanges. To change items, return the original item for a refund and place a separate order for the new item once the return is accepted.

6. Additional Notes

  • If a vendor or product has a different return policy, that variation will be noted in the product description or product-specific return information.

This Refund and Return Policy is effective from 14 November 2025 and replaces the prior Refund and Return Policy terms.
