Free Shipping and Exclusions

• Free shipping applies to most orders over $250 AUD.
• Free shipping excludes:
  • Bulky/oversized items (e.g., Inova air purifiers, IBC tanks)
  • Dangerous goods
  • Certain products delivered to regional addresses
• If free shipping does not apply, we will contact you as quickly as possible with the reason and the proposed shipping cost; you will not be charged until you confirm that you wish to proceed with the order.

Hazardous/Dangerous Goods

• Dangerous goods incur an additional handling fee to meet Australian freight safety regulations. This fee ensures that your items are shipped safely and in compliance with national standards.
• The following products are not eligible for free shipping and incur a flat shipping rate of $42 (inc GST):

Special-Order Items

• HIKMICRO products are special-order items imported internationally.
• Free shipping over $250 still applies; however, expect approximately 2 weeks lead time.
• We will notify you before you complete the purchase.

Shipping Costs, Transit & Handling

• Orders over $250 AUD: Free shipping where eligible.
• Orders under $250 AUD: Flat rate $29 (inc GST) (insurance excluded), unless the item falls under bulky/remote or hazardous profiles, in which case we will quote the actual cost.
• Handling time: 1–4 business days (Mon–Fri).
• Transit time: typically 2–5 business days (Mon–Fri).
• Order cut-off: 4:00 PM ACST. Orders placed after this time are processed the next business day.
• We dispatch from multiple depots; dispatch times vary by product and location.

Order Confirmation, Tracking & Carriers

• You should receive an order confirmation email within 5 minutes of ordering (check spam/junk if not received).
• When your order ships, we will email the carrier and tracking number.

Address Changes, Cancellations & Backorders

• Address changes: We cannot change an address once an order is in transit, so please contact us as quickly as possible at sales@advancedtools.com.au or call (03) 9001 6399 if you need to change the address.
• Cancellations: Allowed at any time before dispatch. If already dispatched, follow our refund policy.
• Backorders: If an item is out of stock, we will contact you with an estimated delivery time. You will not be charged until you confirm that you wish to proceed with the order.

Damaged or Missing Parcels

• If a parcel is visibly damaged, reject it from the courier and contact customer service.
• If received damaged without opportunity to reject, email photos to sales@advancedtools.com.au and lodge a return claim via our Returns page.
• For lost or missing parcels, contact customer service for next steps.
