TIME TT210 Digital Coating Thickness Gauge – Ferrous Metals 0–1250 µm

The TIME TT210 Digital Coating Thickness Gauge is a professional handheld instrument designed for accurate and non-destructive measurement of coating thickness on ferrous and non-ferrous metal substrates. Combining magnetic induction and eddy current technologies, the TT210 provides versatile measurement capabilities for industrial coating inspection, surface finishing and quality control applications.

The magnetic induction (F) measurement method enables the instrument to measure non-magnetic coatings on ferrous substrates such as steel and iron, while the eddy current (N) method measures non-conductive coatings on non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, copper and brass. This dual-function capability makes the TT210 suitable for inspecting paint, powder coatings, anodising, electroplating, galvanising and protective surface finishes.

With a measurement range of 0–1250 µm, the TT210 supports both single-point and continuous measurement modes, allowing operators to perform individual spot checks or rapid measurements across coated surfaces. Zero-point and two-point calibration functions provide flexibility when working with different substrates and coating thickness ranges.

The instrument features high-speed data acquisition and internal storage for up to 600 measurements organised into six groups, with 100 readings per group. This enables users to record and review coating thickness measurements across different inspection locations and workpieces.

Designed for portability and ease of use, the TT210 features metric and imperial unit conversion, automatic power-off and battery-powered operation. Its compact dimensions and lightweight construction make it suitable for workshops, manufacturing facilities and on-site inspections.
