The TIME2510E Digital Coating Thickness Gauge is a professional handheld instrument designed for accurate and non-destructive measurement of coating thickness on ferrous and non-ferrous metal substrates. Combining magnetic induction and eddy current measurement technologies, the TIME2510E provides reliable coating thickness inspection for industrial quality control, automotive refinishing and protective coating applications.
Featuring automatic substrate recognition, the instrument identifies the underlying metal and selects the appropriate measurement method. Magnetic induction technology measures non-magnetic coatings on ferrous substrates such as steel and iron, while eddy current technology measures non-conductive coatings on non-ferrous metals such as aluminium and copper.
The TIME2510E features an external probe arrangement, allowing operators to position the measurement probe independently of the main instrument. This provides additional flexibility when inspecting coated components and surfaces where an integrated probe may be less convenient.
With a measurement range of 0–1250 µm and a minimum resolution of 0.1 µm, the TIME2510E supports precise coating thickness inspection. Zero-point and two-point calibration functions help minimise measurement errors, while DIRECT and BATCH working modes and SINGLE and CONTINUOUS measurement modes provide flexibility for routine inspections and production testing.
The instrument stores up to 600 measurements and provides statistical analysis, including average, maximum, minimum, standard deviation and measurement count. These functions help operators monitor coating consistency and maintain inspection records.
Designed for industrial environments, the TIME2510E combines a compact handheld design with audible measurement feedback, low battery indication, error alarms and automatic power-off. It is suitable for workshops, manufacturing facilities and on-site coating inspections.
