The Testo 0628 0152 Turbulence Probe (Digital, Wired) is a precision-engineered probe for accurately determining air velocity, draught risk, and turbulence degree in compliance with EN ISO 7730 and ASHRAE 55 standards. It is ideal for evaluating thermal comfort conditions in workplaces, laboratories, and indoor environments where occupant comfort and air movement are critical.
When used with compatible Testo multifunction measuring instruments (such as the Testo 400, 440, or 480), the probe calculates air velocity, air temperature, and the degree of turbulence—helping assess draught risk and ensure compliance with international comfort standards.
The probe’s compact design delivers high accuracy even at low air velocities, ensuring precise and reproducible results in environmental monitoring applications. Its fixed cable connection ensures consistent, interference-free operation.
For ergonomic, standard-compliant setup, the turbulence probe can be paired with the Testo measuring tripod for comfort level measurements (available separately), allowing precise probe placement at multiple heights.
Equipped with Testo’s intelligent digital calibration system, calibration uncertainty is minimized. Only the probe needs to be calibrated—your measuring instrument stays in continuous use, maximizing efficiency.
